For us, digitalization is not an end in itself, but a tool for better operations and better service for our customers. GETEC now serves over 11,500 energy supply plants in what are now nine European countries from four regional platforms. The digital heart of each regional platform is a Smart Control Center - in Magdeburg, Emmen, Muttenz near Basel and Piacenza. The majority of our customer plants are monitored remotely 24/7. In this way, we receive status messages from the plants, temperature measurements, error messages, flow rates - but also weather and market data as well as consumption forecasts. Predictive maintenance identifies problems in plants before downtime occurs. This means that the appropriate services can be ordered immediately.

However, if malfunctions do occur, our modern Field Service Management System (FSM) comes into play. Our service staff and technicians receive all necessary information on their mobile devices in a matter of seconds while beeing then in the right place at the right time with the right spare part and the appropriate tool.
