Magdeburg, January 19, 2026 – GETEC announces a change in its Advisory Board: Klaus-Dieter Maubach will join the board as of January 1, 2026. At the same time, Dr. Dahai Yu will step down from the Advisory Board. GETEC thanks Dr. Yu for his valuable support and contribution to the strategic development of the company. 

Klaus-Dieter Maubach brings many years of experience in the energy industry. He served as CEO of Uniper SE and was a long-standing member of the E.ON Group Management Board, including as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). 

Other milestones in his career include serving as CEO of Encavis AG (formerly Capital Stage AG) and Managing Director of Wesertal GmbH. In addition, Maubach has gained national and international supervisory board experience with publicly listed companies as well as with public-sector enterprises. 

He studied electrical engineering at Bergische Universität Wuppertal, where he earned his doctorate (Dr.-Ing.) at the Chair of Energy Supply. In 2006, he was appointed Honorary Professor by Clausthal University of Technology.
